Requirements
Essential Job Functions
Manage support tickets and work with clients to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical-related issues. (Technical)
Supports technical design activities related to application software, data, databases, packaged solutions, and infrastructure components (Technical).
Designs, develop, and distributes technical reusable components (Technical).
Participates in the selection, acquisition, configuration, and troubleshooting of packaged solutions and technical infrastructure components (Technical).
Establishes credibility at all levels with clients and builds problem-solving partnerships with clients and colleagues (Relationship Management).
Communicates in formal presentation settings including medium-sized groups, internal and external project teams, and business unit events; develops written communications to address varied styles and information needs (Communication).
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, business, computer science, or related field preferred
Min. of 3 years of experience in technical analysis, support, and design. Prior knowledge and working experience with other products such as PTC, Catia, etc. will be added advantage.
Experience working with the company, client, and/or equivalent vendor-mandated methodology
Must demonstrate two or more years of experience in two or more of the following Teamcenter-specific skills:
An expert at developing interfaces and workflows in Siemens Teamcenter PLM solutions for managing engineering and manufacturing data
Proficient in configuration management of parts, assemblies, and installation of engineering data
Proficient with using Teamcenter to create and manage engineering/manufacturing data and related workflow
Knowledgeable and proficient in creating and managing engineering change processes within Teamcenter
Experienced in using SQL databases to manage engineering/manufacturing data. Experienced with programming interfaces and collaborating data contained in Oracle-based database systems with data contained in Teamcenter databases for migration and management of data
Proficient in monitoring process logs, improvements needed and implementing changes to the Teamcenter application configuration to enhance and improve operations.
Proficient in preparing test, debugging, and validation plans for PLM implementation and upgrade
Experience with integration of Teamcenter with ERP System.
Experience with MCAD & ECAD integration.
Working knowledge in Teamcenter 2-tier/4-tier/Web/Active Workspace/multi-site architecture
Knowledge of C/C++, Teamcenter ITK, Teamcenter Style sheets & Transfer modes, Java, PLMXML
Experience with the configuration and/or customization of PLM systems based on solution design documents
